Welcome to Morning Earth Tour’s.
About Us: Most people who know Morning Earth know it is a pottery. Twelve years ago after years of study with Asian artists and personal research we secured a grant to teach Korean ceramic processes to art teachers. Later that grant was expanded to include professional and amateur ceramic artists. After attending the workshops, our workshop participants wanted to visit Korea. In 1997 we took our first group to Korea. That led to other successful tours. Then Gangjin, Korea approached us. Gangjin is celebrating their millennium year by holding exhibits in six cities throughout the United States. Gangjin, exclusively through Morning Earth, is inviting you to visit and will subsidize some of our tours that visit Gangjin. this is an amazing offer and could save you considerably off one of our tours.
Our tours are highly respected by many in the industry including The Korean Tourism Organization and tourism professionals in Korea. That’s why Gangjin approached us with their offer to subsidize some of our tours.
Professional tourism experts in Korea have been told that our tours to Korea are the most unique and culturally rich tours to Korea available. They also said that we should be charging at least $1000 more per tour at our unsubsidized prices. We are not a mass tour company and want to treat each tour participant as a special guest. Our motivation is to provide a limited number of very high quality tours at very reasonable prices. Through Gangjin’s amazing offer to subsidize your tour, we’re charging far less for an already reasonably prices tour. Imagine paying less for a better tour.
Our web site may not be fancy but our tours to Korea are thoughtfully planned to take you into the heart of Korea’s rich and spiritual culture. At every stop you will be personally greeted by outstanding artists we know and trust. Some of these artists are Human Cultural Treasures. We have gone beyond limiting our tours to ceramics and have come to know artists from many fields. We take each tour personally and every participant is a special guest.
Tour Korea
Every year is a great time to tour Korea. The lunar calender impacts several exciting events like the Lotus Lantern Festival. So on rare occasions, some events come together providing us wonderful opportunities. In May 2010 two events are aligned to give us a very special opportunity. If you like ceramics, enjoy tea, are interested in a spiritual experience or simply want to experience Korean culture in a very special way then you own it to yourself to take the Tea Tour in May 2010. You will find it at TeaTourKorea.com. That tour will be amazing because of the events you will witness, amazing because of the artists you will meet and amazing because you will be joined on this tour by the internationally recognized authors on Korean tea, An Sonjae (Brother Anthony) and Hong Kyeong-hee. In addition you will pick and process your own tea while staying at an ancient Buddhist temple and you will meet personally several Human Cultural Treasures in their studios. Tour members will also witness the Lotus Lantern Festival. For a truly amazing tour don’t miss the tea tour in May 2010. Register to receive more information at TeaTourKorea.com.
We are principally a pottery, however our unique Korean cultural tours have gained so much attention that we are developing the reputation for designing the best cultural tours to Korea. Now our tours include artists from many fields not just ceramics. Our prices are less but you experience more.
